Born in Lisbon in 1977. She attended the the Goldsmith Course and Art Metals at the Antonio Arroio School. She sought (and found) new languages in the field of jewellery at the Escola Massana Centre d’Art i Disseny in Barcelona, the city where she lived for seven years. She took the degree of Applied Arts majoring in jewellery and later a gradute degree in Art and Design – Jewellery. In parallel to the studies she developed, among other activities, social intervention projects / labor geared to the Gypsy community. This was the result of a work of observation and of the personal and professional need of using the technical and artistic resources to engage in socially marginalized areas. Jewellery acted as a facilitator of the relationship and interaction between two cultures.
In 2003 she returned to Portugal and a year later started working as a teacher of Project and Goldsmith Technologies at the Antonio Arroio Artistic School, where she remains until today.
